District Man Accused Of Killing Victim Days After 19th Birthday In Maryland: Police
A District resident has been charged in connection to the April murder of a 19-year-old from Oxon Hill, authorities announced. Javon Moore, 23, has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal shooting of Tyron Avent after getting into a disagreement and subsequently fleeing the shooting scene before officers arrived, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. A US Marine from Maryland was killed by a gunman who remains at large. Darnell Stanley, 45, is being remembered for his selflessness following his shooting death on Friday evening, Nov. 24, on the 600 block of Audrey Lane in Oxon Hill. A 16-year-old shooter who was wanted for his role in the murder of James Joel Austin earlier this year was apprehended by police in Forest Heights, authortieis announced on Thursday night.
