Nearly a year after a fatal hit-and-run crash in Anne Arundel County, the driver has turned himself in, police say. Annapolis resident John Kaii-Ziegler, 64, surrendered to police months after he was identified as a suspect in connection to the death of 73-year-old Zarko Paruza in January 2023. They say no good deed goes unpunished. An investigation was launched in Anne Arundel County after a man was stabbed during a dispute while spending the night at another person's apartment to stay warm during the recent cold spell. At around 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, officers from the Anne Arundel Police Department were called to the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle in Glen Burnie, where a 37-year-old man was stabbed by an unknown suspect. A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to a series of child abuse sex offenses that date back to the 1990s, a spokesperson for the Anne Arundel County Police Department announced. Malcolm Adams, is facing multiple rape and sex offense charges after investigators became aware of alleged sexual abuse that was occurred in the 200 block of Bishop Avenue in Brooklyn. Life In Prison For Son Responsible For Butchering Mother In Maryland: State's Attorney
An Anne Arundel Judge has ruled that a 26-year-old man spend life in prison for the grisly murder of his mother in their Tracy's Landing home in 2021, authorities announced. Andrew Beavers was sentenced to life in prison for the first-degree murder of his mother, cybersecurity executive Juanita Naomi Koilpillai, 58, whose body was found poorly outside of their home after being reported missing.
