Firefighters Injured By Tractor-Trailer Slamming Into Ambulance In MD
Two firefighters were injured in Prince George's County on Thursday night when a tractor-trailer crashed into an ambulance and several other vehicles. An ambulance that was stopped on the Inner Loop of the Beltway and MD-210 at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 in Oxon Hill when it was struck by the truck driver, according to officials. At the time of the crash, the ambulance was at the scene of a previous accident on I-495. Two Reportedly Suffer Minor Injuries In Crash With Ambulance In Maryland
Two people were injured after a loaded ambulance was hit by a vehicle in Prince George's County, officials say. The collision happened at St. Barnabas Road and Branch Avenue around 8:16 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, according to the Prince George's County Fire Department. At the time of the collision, the ambulance had a patient on board, officials noted. A mother and child in the civilian vehicle were reportedly injured in the collision, reports WUSA 9. There were no reported injuries to the crew or patient on the ambulance.
