Former Baltimore Police Detective Sentenced For Planting Evidence, Obstructing Justice: Feds
A former Baltimore City Police Detective has been convicted of helping to plant evidence on a suspect, falsifying search warrants and arrest reports, and other charges, authorities say. Officials announced on Thursday, July 28 that former detective Robert Hankard, 46, has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison followed by three years supervised release for criminal civil rights violations and obstruction of justice, according to the Department of Justice.
