Video of a short-lived "race" between a Tesla Cybertruck and Lamborghini on a Virginia highway has garnered tens of thousands of views after going viral on social media.

In footage posted online and widely shared on social media - even by Elon Musk himself - the two vehicles can be seen lining up at a traffic light on Leesburg Pike in Tysons Corner before the two drivers rev their engines and take off down the roadway.

The Cybertruck gets off the line quicker, and ultimately beats the million-dollar sports car to the next light as onlookers "oohed" and "ahhed" while taking video of the exchange.
