Months after a violent rollover crash claimed the life of a child in Southern Maryland, a woman was arrested and charged, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office announced. Lexington Park resident Ashley Nicole Nolan has been charged in an 18-count indictment by the Circuit Court for offenses that include negligent manslaughter for the March crash. One driver suffered critical injuries after being rear-ended by a Mack truck and thrown into the opposite lane of traffic, according to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office. Tens of thousands of Toyota SUVs are subject to a sizeable recall due to a faulty tow hitch cover that may increase the possibility of a crash, officials say. Tens of thousands of Hyundai SUVs are being recalled across the country in response to a situation that may affect their airbags' functionality.
