Pedestrian Involved In Crash Killed After Walking Into Traffic: Maryland State Police A person involved in a crash early on Friday morning was killed in Prince George's County after walking into traffic, Maryland State Police say. Shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, troopers were called to the northbound lanes of Crain Highway near Croom Road to investigate a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. Police say that the person was involved in a prior crash, and for unknown reasons, walked into a lane of traffic and was struck by a Ford traveling north along the highway. MD Dad, Business Owner ID'd After Fatal PA Motorcycle Crash: Coroner A 48-year-old Maryland man died at the scene of a crash in Pennsylvania, authorities said on Thursday, June 13.  Andrew "Andy" Adelsberger, 48 of Boonsboro, MD, had an accidental death due to multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Adams County Coroner's Office. Andy was wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle on PA Route 116/Fairfield Road westbound near Valley View Trail, according to Carroll Valley police. Gas Line Struck In Front Of Maryland Home Leads To Evacuations (Developing) Some residents in Montgomery County were evacuated on Thursday morning when a troublesome gas leak was reported outside an area home. An alert was issued at approximately 11 a.m. on June 6 when HazMat units were called to the 5600 block of Spruce Tree Avenue in Bethesda when a two-inch gas line was struck in front of a residence, officials said. In response, some residents in the area, as well as the YMCA on Old Georgetown Road were evacuated as a precaution, according to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.
