Prince George's County Schools Locked Down Due To Investigation: Police (Developing)

Two schools in Prince George's County were temporarily locked down amid an ongoing investigation, police say.

At approximately 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, Crossland High School and Thurgood Marshall Middle School in Temple Hills were placed in a precautionary lockdown.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the lockdown was "out of an abundance of caution due to an investigation nearby unrelated to the school." 

No details about the investigation were provided.

More information is expected to be released.
