Video Shows Gunman Lurking Outside Victim's Home Before Baltimore Murder

Baltimore police have release surveillance footage of a shooting that left a man dead early this week.

Dontre Mitchell was shot dead just before 8:40 a.m. Sunday, April 16 at 2920 Chesley Ave., according to Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland.

Footage shows a man dressed in all black with a large firearm lurking outside of the home in the moments before the shooting.

#BPD homicide detectives are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect involved in a deadly shooting. The shooting occurred in the 2900 block of Chesley Avenue around 8:30 a.m. on Apr. 16, 2023. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2100. To remain anonymous, contact Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 1-866-7LOCKUP. There is currently an $8,000 reward for information.
