Woman Airlifted, Teens Injured In Single-Vehicle Maryland Crash With Power Pole: Report
Six people, including five teenagers, were seriously injured after a vehicle crashed into a power pole in Prince George's County, reports WUSA 9. The crash occurred around 11:20 p.m., Thursday, July 21 on Laurel Bowie Road at Cherry Lane, the outlet continues. Two of the occupants are suffering from life-threatening injuries, with a 28-year-old woman being airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Heartbroken Mom Speaks Out After Missing Son Found Dead In Maryland
The mother of a 17-year old boy believed to have been killed apparently had been pleading with him to get help about being bullied, according to WUSA 9 report. Jailyn Jones, a 12th grader at Northwest High School, was found dead on Jan. 24, on the 18900 block of Grotto Lane in Germantown. His death is being investigated as a homicide. Meanwhile, his mother, Alexis McDaniel, said he was the victim of bullying at the school. “I asked for help I did," McDaniel told WUSA 9. Teen Mysteriously Struck Dead During Storm In Maryland
An investigation is underway by Montgomery County Police as to how a teen died during a storm on Jan. 16, according to WUSA 9. A group of teens called 911 after one of them collapsed outside of the main gate to Montgomery College, a fire spokesman told the outlet. The teen was in full cardiac arrest when responders arrived and later died. A first responder apparently suffered an electric shock during their attempt to perform life-saving measures on the teenager.
