One firefighter was injured and a dog perished in an overnight two-alarm fire that broke out behind a Harford County townhouse. First responders were called shortly before 3 a.m. to Browning Court in Abingdon, where there was a fire that started on a rear deck that damaged three homes, leaving several displaced. ID Released For Victim Killed In Baltimore County House Fire
Police have released the identity of the woman killed in a pre-dawn house fire in Baltimore County Monday, March 18. Baltimore County Firefighters responded to the blaze at a home on the 3100 block of Shortway in Dundalk around 2:30 a.m. and found Barbara Spokus, 70, dead in the living room, police said Tuesday. A man occupying the home was able to escape and was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. A woman has died and a man is in critical condition following a pre-dawn house fire in Baltimore County, officials said. The blaze broke out at a home on the 3100 block of Shortway in Dundalk just after 2:30 a.m. Monday, March 18, the Baltimore County Fire Department said.
