Kitchen Blaze Sends Maryland Homeowners To Hospital For Smoke Inhalation: Fire Marshal
Two residents of a Washington County home were hospitalized after a kitchen blaze broke out, according to the Maryland Fire Marshal. Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, first responders were called to a home in the 9900 block of Garis Shop Road in Hagerstown, where there was a reported grease fire. Both residents of the home were taken to Meritus Medical Center for treatment of smoke inhalation injuries. They were later released into the care of family members. Child Playing With Lighter Sparks Blaze At Maryland Apartment Building: Fire Marshal
Things got a little too hot to handle for a child playing with a lighter inside a Harford County apartment that was damaged by fire on Wednesday afternoon, officials say. First responders were called at around 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 25 to the Edgewood Park Apartment complex on Edgewood Road, when a neighbor reported a fire inside one of the units. Knocking Neighbor Saves Sleeping Woman From Burning Home In Maryland: Fire Marshal
A 34-year-old woman got an unexpected wakeup call from her neighbor on Saturday morning when she was stirred by the pounding on her door that alerted her to a fire inside her Harford county home. Firefighter Released From Hospital After Suffering Leg Injury Battling Maryland House Fire
The firefighter who was taken to the hospital with a leg injury while battling a Maryland blaze over the weekend has been released and is recovering at home, responders have announced.
