Two people were arrested overnight after shots were fired during a standoff in Baltimore County that resulted in a temporary shelter-in-place order for some residents that has since been lifted. Officers from the White Marsh Precinct were alerted by Maryland State Police about a stolen vehicle that failed to yield to deputies, leading to a temporary pursuit. Updated: Police confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that security measures had been lifted. At least one Baltimore County school was placed into its lockout status on Wednesday afternoon as police investigated reports of shots fired in the area. Shortly before noon on Wednesday, May 10, members of the Baltimore County Police Department were called to the 11900 block of Reisterstown Road, where there were reports of shots fired blocks away from Franklin High School. Some St. Mary's Businesses Instructed To Shelter In Place For Shooting Investigation: Sheriff
Some businesses in St. Mary’s County have been instructed to shelter in place as the sheriff’s office investigates reports of shots fired. At approximately 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, members of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of MacArthur Boulevard in California to investigate. Investigators said that some of the businesses in the area are sheltering in place while the investigation continues. Others have been instructed to avoid the area. This is a developing story.
