Stranger Accused Of Murdering Maryland Teen Arrested, Motive Still Unknown, Police Say
A Hyattsville man has been arrested after brutally stabbing and killing a Maryland teenager, authorities say. Rasheed Anwar, 65, is accused of fatally stabbing Therry Buhdeng, 19, on Wednesday, Nov. 16 around 11:45 a.m., in the 4600 block of Baltimore Avenue, according to Prince George’s County police. Police discovered Buhdeng suffering from a stab wound and rushed him to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, Dec. 1. Detectives were able to identify Anwar as the suspect, and say that it does not appear that Anwar and Buhdeng knew each other at the time of the murder. …

Maryland Man Accused Of Torching Home, Killing Teacher, Pets With Family In Virginia: Sheriff
Authorities say that a Maryland man and a family member have been arrested and charged in connection to the death of a 29-year-old teacher in Virginia. Leonardtown resident Demitri Raymond Gardiner, 28, and Michael John Gardiner, 35, of Montross, Virginia, are both facing a host of charges in Westmoreland County for their alleged roles in the brutal murder of Taylor Wood, 29, also of Montrose, and several of her pets, the sheriff’s office announced. Authorities have arrested the suspect wanted in the University of Virginia shooting that left three people dead and two wounded on Sunday, Nov. 13. Citing “predatory behavior,” a judge sentenced a Pennsylvania man to more than a decade behind bars in Maryland for attempting to run down his victim in May last year, authorities announced. Police have arrested a Clinton man in connection to a fatal shooting in Prince George's County, authorities say. Trevon Cox, 20, is accused of killing Stanley Ramey, 28 in a shooting in the 2100 block of Rochelle Avenue around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17, according to Prince George's County police.
