Police are searching for a robbery suspect who forced a victim to withdraw money at gunpoint in Linthicum Heights. Officers were informed of the robbery in the early afternoon hours of Thursday, April 6, according to Anne Arundel County Police. An elderly woman was killed in a crash after police attempted to stop a vehicle connected to a string of Westminster robberies, police say. Shortly before midnight, Saturday, March 25, police were alerted that a License Plate Reader had spotted a wanted vehicle near the 1000 block of West North Avenue, according to Baltimore Police Department officials. Baltimore police have identified a 35-year-old man who died from complications stemming back to a 2008 shooting. Antwan Horton was on his way home from the store when he was left paralyzed after being shot in the early morning hours of March 22, 2008 in the 500 block of N. Decker Street, according to Baltimore police. Investigation revealed that Horton was shot in a robbery that had gone awry. Child Charged With Attempted Murder After Robbery Gone Wrong
A teenager has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after a shooting that occurred earlier this month, authorities say. The 16-year-old was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 14 after being connected to the Friday, Dec. 2 shooting, according to Baltimore police. Police say that the teenager shot a 62-year-old man in the 100 block of West Hamburg Street during the course of a robbery. The teenager was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged.
