Investigators from the Anne Arundel County Police Department say a 2018 Mazda SUV, driven by 27-year-old Da’Von Tawain Bell of Annapolis, was heading southbound on Ritchie Highway when it struck Barry Stephen White of Gwynn Oak, who was in the roadway. David Knuckey, 21, was allegedly arguing with a group of juveniles in the 7900 block of Ritchie Highway, when he took out a knife around 8:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Anne Arundel County police. Investigators determined that Knuckey then stabbed one of the juveniles, who fled to a local hospital for treatment. Knuckey fled the scene on foot and was arrested a short time later.
