Maryland Man Dead In House With Over 100 Venomous Snakes, Spitting Cobra A man in Pomfret was found dead in his home with over 100 venomous snakes inside, according to police. Of the many snakes found in the residence, officers discovered a spitting cobra (whose venom can go 10 feet) rattlesnakes, black mambas, and pythons, officials said. On Jan. 19, at 6 p.m., a neighbor called police to check on the man who they had not seen since the day before.
