There will be an increased police presence in parts of Baltimore County on Tuesday afternoon as the police department addresses a barricade situation in Essex. At approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, the Baltimore County Police Department issued an alert advising that there was an ongoing standoff in the area of Middlesex Road.
