Police were called to Milford Mill Academy in Baltimore on Tuesday morning to investigate a threat. Officers from the Baltimore County Police Department responded to the school in the 3800 block of Washington Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, to investigate reports of a threat that was made. Following a brief investigation, police said at approximately 10 a.m. that the threat appears to be unsubstantiated and regular school activities have resumed. Authorities have arrested a teenage suspect in connection to the murder of a 14-year-old who was shot and killed near a Baltimore high school earlier this year. Travis Slaughter was shot and killed around the corner from Milford Mill Academy in Windsor Mills on Friday, Sept. 2, where he was a freshman at the school. One teen was killed and another injured in a Maryland shooting not far from a Baltimore high school, police said.
