A man is fighting for his life after being pulled into an MRI machine while wearing a metal chain, police announced on Thursday, July 17. The 61-year-old man walked into an unauthorized area at Nassau Open MRI on Old Country Road in Westbury, New York, at 4:34 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, according to the Homicide Squad. At least one man was shot overnight in Baltimore, authorities say. Police arrived to the scene of a ShotSpotter alert in the 1700 block of Madison Avenue around 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, where they found evidence of a shooting, but no victim, according to a Baltimore police spokesperson. At least one victim was stabbed at the Metro Center Station in D.C., police said. Sometime before 4:15 p.m. on August 23, a man was stabbed in the stomach while waiting on a platform, NBC4 Washington reported. The victim was found unconscious and not breathing, the website said. A man was stabbed at a shopping center while walking to his vehicle in a late night attack in Hanover, authorities say.
