Child Critically Injured, Woman Hurt In Maryland Townhouse Blaze Sparked By Fire Pit A 9-year-old child and a woman were injured in a fire caused by an indoor ignitable liquid flame kit designed for making S'mores, Anne Arundel County officials said. Shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, firefighters from Anne Arundel County, Fort Meade, and Howard County responded to a townhouse in the 8500 block of Crooked Tree Lane in Laurel for reports of a fire in the living room.
