County police were trying to stop a stolen vehicle near the 1800 block of Belmont Avenue, but the driver refused and headed onto the outer loop of I-695 traveling in the wrong direction, according to county police. “Officers did not follow the stolen vehicle onto the highway,” said the BCPO.
