Some lanes were blocked on Monday morning in Anne Arundel County when a tractor-trailer overturned and spilled debris into the northbound lanes of I-97. An alert was issued by police shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 when the truck - for unknown reasons - crashed near the ramp to westbound Route 32. A 40-year-old wrong-way driver was killed in a head-on crash in Anne Arundel County late on Thursday night, police say. Glen Burnie resident Christopher Gianfrancesco has been identified by investigators as the person killed in a three-vehicle crash involving two other drivers at around 10 p.m. on June 27. Police Seek Audi Involved In Fatal Pedestrian Hit-Run Crash In Maryland
Maryland State Police are searching for the driver of an Audi they believe fatally struck a pedestrian in Glen Burnie. The suspect vehicle, believed to be a 2010-2018 Audi A8 or S8, fatally struck Delroy Roderick Ben, 54, in the area of southbound I-97 at Maryland Route 648 shortly before 2 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, according to Maryland State Police. Jason Tyler Crawford was heading west on Route 100 in a Honda Accord EX when he lost control near the I-97 overpass and struck a concrete barrier around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, Anne Arundel County police said.
