A flag-waving Republican member of the Maryland State Board of Elections is facing charges for his alleged role in the Jan. 6 insurrection, federal authorities announced. Carlos Ayala, 52, of Salisbury, has been charged with civil disorder, a felony, and several related misdemeanor charges following his arrest earlier this week. 7-Year-Old Ashburton Student Dies After Being Struck At Bethesda Bus Stop
A 7-year-old boy has died after being hit at a school bus stop in Bethesda, Montgomery County Police confirm to Daily Voice. Muhammed Elsyaf, who was a student at Ashburton Elementary School, was taken to a local hospital with injuries described as life-threatening.
