Police are investigating reports of a suspicious person who reportedly attempted to approach minors before and after school in several Maryland communities, authorities say. A 12-year-old child is safe after a fire engulfed a Poolesville house while they were home alone, authorities say. The fire allegedly started in the kitchen of the residence at 16205 Edwards Ferry Road in the early afternoon of Wednesday, July 27, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
