Police ID 28-Year-Old Driver Killed In Violent Maryland Crash The victim of a violent fatal collision in Seat Pleasant has been identified as a 28-year-old Hyattsville man, authorities said. Jose Hernandez Chaves was killed after the driver of a pickup truck rear ended Chaves at a red light, pushing Chaves's vehicle into a third vehicle, on the 8400 block of Central Avenue around 3:45 p.m., Monday, May 23, Prince George's County Police say. Chaves was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
