Delivery Drivers Targeted In String Of Greenbelt Carjackings
Delivery drivers seemed to be the target of the night in Greenbelt after two were carjacked within an hour of each other, authorities say. A food delivery driver was first attacked around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, on the 7800 block of Hanover Parkway, according to Greenbelt Police. The victim's blue Toyota Corolla was taken by four men wearing all black and black face masks who were armed with a handgun, investigators said. Severn Dad Carjacked In His Driveway With Child: Police
One of the last things you'd expect before putting your kid to bed is to be attacked in your own driveway, but that was unfortunately one Severn man's reality, authorities say. The victim was pulling into his driveway when four suspects wearing ski masks swarmed his BMW, brandishing handguns and ordered him out of the car around 11 p.m. on the 8000 block of Telegraph Road, according to the Anne Arundel Police Department. A Laurel man was arrested for stealing a car that was later involved in a crash in Montgomery County, authorities said. Manuel A. Hernandez Hernandez, 27, stole a car from the parking lot of Hung Phat Grocery Store, located in the 11300 block of Fern Street in Wheaton, around 8:48 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, Montgomery County Police said. Three teenagers from Baltimore County have been arrested in connection with a stealing a vehicle in Towson, authorities said, Police responded to a reported carjacking at the Towson Town Center Mall around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, Baltimore County police said. Howard County Carjacker Sought
Police are on the lookout for a carjacker in Howard County. The man demanded the victim out of the vehicle at gunpoint on the 6600 block of Marie Curie Drive in Elkridge around 7:50 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 7, the Howard County Police Department said. The car was later found in the area, police said. The suspect is described as a Black male standing approximately 6 feet tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, police said.
