DC Man Sentenced For Role In Night Of Violence Across Maryland, Virginia
A Washington, DC man will spend more than a decade in prison for his role in a day of terror that involved a violent armed robbery and two armed carjackings in Maryland and Virginia, federal officials announced.
Rashaun Onley, 23, was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, on federal charges of committing an armed commercial robbery, carjacking, and using, carrying, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
The violence began in the early morning of Feb. 5, 2021.

Two teenagers were arrested on the same day after bringing guns to Suitland High School, authorities say.
Police first arrived at the high school to serve an arrest warrant for a 16-year-old boy who had been wanted for a District Heights carjacking in late June, officials said. A school resource officer located the student around 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 29, and found a gun in the teen's waistband, according to Prince George's County police.

A 20-year-old man will spend decades behind bars after being sentenced for his alleged role in four separate incidents that concluded with him carjacking an 84-year-old woman in Maryland.
Frederick resident Titus Lamont Diggs, Jr. was sentenced to a combined 40 years in prison, suspending all but 20 years of active incarceration, the State’s Attorney’s Office announced.
Specifically, in late May, Diggs pleaded guilty to:
Armed carjacking;
Armed robbery;
Assault;
Illegal possession of a firearm;
