Pedestrian Dies 2 Weeks After Being Struck By Car In Montgomery County
A 35-year-old Silver Spring man died nearly two weeks after being struck by a car in Gaithersburg, authorities announced. Vidal Jurez Godinez was in the crosswalk of Gridley Road when he was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado making a left hand turn from southbound Selfridge Road around 10 p.m. Friday, June 3, Montgomery County police said. Godinez was taken to an area hospital, where he remained in the intensive care unit until he died on June 15. No charges had been filed as of Friday, June 17. Man Killed In Violent Rear-End Collision In Baltimore County
A man died in a violent late night collision in Baltimore, authorities say. Troy McNeil, 52, was killed after his 2019 Chevrolet Malibu rear-ended a 2012 Honda Pilot near a traffic signal on Washington Boulevard, according to Baltimore County Police. The driver of the northbound Honda Pilot was slowing down for the traffic signal when the impact occurred. McNeil was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Honda Pilot driver appeared uninjured. The Baltimore County Police Crash Team continues to investigate this incident.

Teen Killed, Young Driver Airlifted In Maryland Crash: Sheriff
A teenager was killed and a second victim was airlifted to a Maryland hospital after crashing at a busy St. Mary’s County intersection on Tuesday, June 14. Great Mills resident Robert Proctor, Jr., 15, was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Route 235 near the intersection of Hermanville Road in Lexington Park shortly after 6 p.m. on Tuesday when his vehicle was struck. A 34-year-old man experiencing car problems was struck and killed by an impaired driver while trying to fix his car on I-695 in Baltimore Saturday, June 11, State Police said. Juan Rivera was stopped in the right shoulder standing outside of his 2005 Dodge Dakota on the inner loop near I-70 when his car was struck by a 2014 Toyota Tacoma driven by Moto Chapol, 37, around 9:45 p.m., Maryland State Police said. Malcolm Alexander Gardner, 29, of Montgomery Village, was heading south on Frederick Road in a silver 2007 Infinity M35 when he lost control while attempting to navigate a curve around 11:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, Montgomery County police said. A 71-year-old died after he was struck by a car and became trapped underneath it Thursday, June 9 in Baltimore, police said. The 37-year-old driver remained at the scene — the intersection at Pennsylvania Avenue and Mosher Street — after the 4:45 p.m. incident, according to city police. A boy was in critical condition after being hit by a car in Southeast DC Wednesday, June 1, authorities said. CPR Performed On Victim Pulled From Car In Frederick County Pond
Firefighters rescued a driver who sent his car careening into a pond in Frederick County Tuesday, May 31, authorities said. The victim was found in his car in the retaining pond behind the CVS at 5414 Rotary Avenue in New Market around 8:45 p.m,, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office said. U.S. Marshals arrested Devlon Stephen Crew-Hamilton, 31, on Friday in Washington, D.C.
