More Than 32K Still Without Power 24 Hours After Storms Smash Through Maryland
Tens of thousands of Maryland residents were still in the dark a day after severe storms left the region in tatters.
Despite working around the clock to make repairs, as of 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, Baltimore Gas and Electric was still reporting 1,415 active outages that were impacting 32,962 of the company's 1,340,185 Maryland customers.

Ron Wright, 47, of Wimauma, Florida, has been charged by Metropolitan Police investigators in DC for the 1992 murder of Falls Church, Virginia resident Ricardo Burbano, authorities announced on Thursday, Oct. 20.
On Tuesday, March 31, 1992, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department in Maryland found Burbano unconscious in the back of a building in Hyattsville, where he was pronounced dead.

Cashmyer, 26, of Baltimore, Maryland, was featured on the show as she faced homelessness and unemployment as she was pregnant with her then-boyfriend Derek Taylor's daughter Genevieve "Evie" Taylor in 2014, according to the episode descriptions.
