All hands were on deck on Monday when a fast-moving fire rapidly spread to several residences when a townhouse blaze broke out, officials say. Firefighters from several agencies in northern Maryland on Feb. 5, when a two-alarm fire was reported in the 600 block of Shore Drive in Joppa that displaced two residents. A beloved teacher has been identified as the 70-year-old woman killed in a Baltimore County house fire on Tuesday afternoon. Catonsville resident Kathleen Benedick died after she was found suffering from cardiac arrest inside a home in the 400 block of Lambeth Road that went up in flames.
