A 63-year-old man is facing serious charges after allegedly setting fires inside a Maryland YMCA while more than 80 people were inside, authorities announced. Donald Lee Martin Jr. was arrested following an investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office into a fire reported around 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, at the YMCA located on Baltimore Avenue in Cumberland. The Baltimore man who violently stabbed his girlfriend to death after tracking her from her home has been convicted of her murder, the Maryland AG announced. Forell Isaac, 39, has been convicted of the first-degree murder of girlfriend Linique Green, 29, in September 2021 following what was described as a "tumultuous romantic relationship," where he showed concerning behavior. Maryland Woman Tried To Break Into Home, Light It On Fire With Juveniles Inside: Police
A Brooklyn woman has been arrested and charged with attempted arson and home invasion for trying to break into a home and light it on fire while there were teenagers inside, authorities said. Police responded to a home in the 200 block of Rupert Circle for a home invasion around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, Anne Arundel County Police said.
