Multi-Vehicle Crash Leads To 'Major Delays' On I-83 In Baltimore County

Traffic slowed to a crawl for some drivers in Baltimore County on Wednesday afternoon following a serious multi-vehicle crash on I-83.

Fire and Rescue personnel were called along with HazMat crews following a reported crash that led to major lane closures in the northbound lanes of the interstate between exits 33 and 36 in Parkton.

According to officials, there were "serious injuries" and I-83 was closed at York Road amid the ongoing investigation and cleanup.

Details about the crash are expected to be released.
