Two violent gang members from DC have been sentenced to life plus 60 years in prison after kidnapping and murdering two innocent people in a twisted act of revenge, federal authorities announced.
After a four-week trial, a jury found Marcel Vines, 28, aka “Baby Boy,” and Malique Lewis, 27, aka “Freak,” guilty of multiple charges, including kidnapping resulting in death, first-degree murder while armed, and weapons offenses, according to the US Attorney's Office.

Detectives are searching for an armed suspect behind a string of bank robberies in Montgomery County and are asking for the public’s help after releasing new surveillance photos.
The first heist happened at M&T Bank on Montgomery Avenue around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, according to Montgomery County Police.

A Baltimore man who carjacked a police detective at gunpoint and fled in his unmarked vehicle will spend the next 12 years in federal prison, authorities announced.
Trevon Gardner, 23, was sentenced Friday, Dec. 6, by U.S. District Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher to 12 years behind bars, followed by five years of supervised release, for the armed carjacking of Baltimore Police Department Detective Aaron Cain, according to the US Attorney’s Office.
The incident occurred on May 3, 2022, at a 7-Eleven store on South Hanover Street in Baltimore’s Cherry Hill neighborhood.
