Nearly a million dollars in damage was caused when a butcher shop fire spread to a home of a vacant home that has stood for more than a century in Maryland, officials say. First responders were called shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, to the 5000 block of Stone Boundary Road in Cambridge, where the owner of a butcher shop reported a fire that rapidly spread to nearby structures. Charges have been filed against Naresh Bhatt in his wife's disappearance, police announced. On Thursday afternoon, Aug. 22, Manassas Park police announced that Naresh Bhatt was charged with prohibition against concealment of dead body after a search warrant was executed at the home he shared with Mamta Kafle Bhatt. The 28-year-old mother went missing late last month, and her husband was the last person to have spoken to her, police said.
