Alaysia Janell Milburn has been identified as the 25-year-old woman who was killed in Lexington Park before police were taken on a multi-county pursuit that ended with 38-year-old Kenneth Louis Price turning a gun on himself, investigators say. The investigation into a reported domestic assault with multiple children inside a Charles County home landed a man behind bars overnight, according to the sheriff's office. Hughesville resident Brandon Wayne Blitch, 38, was arrested on Monday night following the probe into reports of shots fired inside an area home. One person was hospitalized after an officer involved shooting on Thursday afternoon in Charles County, officials say. Shortly after 1 p.m. on Sept. 12, officers were called to the 14000 block of Bassford Road in Hughesville for an investigation. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, an armed suspect was shot during the incident and rushed to an area hospital with what were described as "injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening."
