A school bus loaded with Northwestern High School students crashed with a sedan in Prince George's County on Friday morning, police say. The crash was reported shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, according to the Hyattsville Police Department. The crash happened at the intersection of 42nd and Oliver Streets while the bus was still on Route #345, picking up students on the way to school. Scooter Rider Ejected, Killed In Southern Maryland Crash With Sedan, Sheriff Says
A 71-year-old man was killed in Leonardtown after his motor scooter collided with a Nissan sedan, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the 28000 block of Point Lookout Road on shortly before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, where they found a two-vehicle crash involving a 2023 Zhilong BWS motor scooter and a 2023 Nissan Versa, police said.
