A historic home built in 1792 overlooking the North East River was destroyed by a two-alarm fire in Cecil County, authorities announced. An estimated $2.5 million in damage was reported in Charlestown, when a residence known by local residents as the Eagle Point Rod and Gun Club went up in flames on Monday.
