Late on Saturday, 1-year-old Upper Marlboro native Journee Moore was the subject of an emergency call in Northwest DC after going into cardiac arrest. The Maryland woman who abused at least three children in her care while operating an unlicensed daycare center out of her home will have decades behind bars to think about her actions, authorities announced. Mardela Springs resident Nicole Bochenek, 46, was sentenced to 55 years in prison this week after pleading guilty in March to multiple counts of child abuse and first-degree assault.
