Crews Called To Federal US Navy Facility For Office Fire In Maryland First responders were busy on Sunday morning when a fire broke out at the US Naval Surface Warfare Center in Bethesda.  Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews were called at around 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 17 to the NSWC Caderock building in the 9500 block of Mac Arthur Boulevard, where there was a fire inside the office area of the facility. Shawn Claude Crowell, 40, who was assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Wing Atlantic at Naval Station Norfolk from December 2022 to September 2024, is facing a decade in prison after pleading guilty to theft of government property.
