A timelapse video and photos captured by the Breathe Project show the massive plume from a deadly explosion at the U.S. Steel Clairton Coke Works on Monday, Aug. 11, that has now left two people dead two missing, and 10 injured, officials confirmed later Monday night. The explosion happened at 10:51 a.m. between coke oven batteries 13 and 14 inside the sprawling coking facility along the Monongahela River in Clairton, sparking a fire and a large-scale emergency response, according to Allegheny County Emergency Services (ACES).
