New details have been released by police following a crash that left a 39-year-old dead she struck a concrete barrier on Friday morning on Route 32 in Howard County. An investigation was launched over the weekend by the Howard County Police Department after the driver of a 2013 Ford Explorer crashed in Columbia, and then was struck by a second vehicle early on Aug. 2, investigators say. A 3-year-old boy was found shot inside a Maryland home in what is believed to be an accidental shooting involving an unsecured handgun on Monday, police say. An investigation has been launched by the Howard County Police Department following the fatal shooting, which was reported inside a home on Harpers Ferry Road in Columbia on July 1.
