Man Dies After Police Encounter In Montgomery County, Officers Identified By Maryland AG The Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified a man who died following an in-custody police incident in Montgomery County and the officers involved in the case. Marvin Salamanca Garcia, 35, of Gaithersburg, was pronounced dead on Thursday, Dec. 26, after an incident involving Gaithersburg Police Department officers two days earlier, according to the AG's Independent Investigations Division (IID).
