Two marked police cruisers were smashed during a street takeover in Maryland early Sunday morning — one while an officer was sitting inside and recording the whole thing. The chaos unfolded at approximately 12:39 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, when Montgomery County Police were notified of a large group of vehicles linked to street takeover activity that began in Prince George’s County and moved toward the Silver Spring central business district. Woman Killed, Two Hospitalized After Violent Crash On Capital Beltway In Maryland: State Police
A woman was killed and two others were rushed to the hospital after a violent early-morning crash on the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County, according to police. Troopers from the Maryland State Police Forestville Barrack were called around 5:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, to the inner loop of the Capital Beltway near Route 210 in Oxon Hill for reports of a serious crash. A man was rushed to the hospital after his car flipped onto its roof in a crash along Cumberland Highway in Franklin County, firefighters said. The wreck happened at 8:07 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, near Iron Bridge Road in Pleasant Hall, according to the Pleasant Hall Volunteer Fire Company. When emergency crews arrived, they found the vehicle overturned. Firefighters from Pleasant Hall and West End Fire and Rescue secured the car’s electrical system and assisted fire police with traffic control, officials said.
