Flashbang Ends Barricade Near Maryland Hotel, Suspect Surrenders: Police (Updated) A tense barricade near a Baltimore County hotel ended Wednesday afternoon when police deployed a flashbang before the suspect surrendered, authorities said. The Baltimore County Police Department said the hours-long standoff unfolded on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the area of the Comfort Inn in the 8800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson. Officers first responded shortly before noon, calling in a heavy police presence to contain the scene.
