The Baltimore County Police Department said the hours-long standoff unfolded on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the area of the Comfort Inn in the 8800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson. Maryland House Speaker Adrienne Jones Targeted In Bomb Threat At Baltimore County Home On the same day hoaxes forced Virginia universities to close campuses and hit the Democratic National Committee, a top Maryland lawmaker says she was also targeted at her home. Adrienne A. Jones, the Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates issued a statement late on Thursday, Sept. 11, advising that she also received a bomb threat at her home in Baltimore County.
