Silver Spring's Mikiyas Maryie Kefyalew, also known as “Mick,” 24, was charged with the distribution of fentanyl that resulted in the death of teen Landen Hausman, of Bethesda, US Attorney Erek Barron announced. A judge sentenced Gaithersburg resident Eric Turner, 32, to 10 years in prison with all but six years to serve after pleading guilty to his role in the death of Shanon Cole, who overdosed in July 2022 after ingesting a pill he received from him.
