Evening darkness will arrive a little sooner this fall. The annual time change is set, and there are a few things to know before the clocks move. Daylight Saving Time in the US ends Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. At 2 a.m. local time, clocks turn back to 1 a.m., which effectively adds an extra hour of sleep and shifts more light to the morning. Man Uploading Child Sex Abuse Materials Busted After Cyber Tip In DMV Region: Sheriff
A Virginia man is facing nearly two dozen counts of child pornography possession after investigators say he uploaded and shared disturbing images of child sexual abuse online, authorities announced. The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Team received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about an online account uploading images of child porn, the agency said Tuesday. Child Porn Found By Employees Repairing Cell Phone Lands Hagerstown Man Federal Charges
A broken phone in Washington County led to federal charges for a 75-year-old Hagerstown man accused of child exploitation, authorities announced. In November 2024, the Hagerstown Police Department were tipped off by employees at Boost Mobile on Maryland Avenue after William Foster Alger came to the store to repair his cellphone. During the repair, police say that employees discovered nude photos of underage girls, and detectives found that Alger had foreign connections, and believed the photos were taken in Ecuador.
