Hunter Who Shot, Killed GF With Crossbow In Maryland Learns Prison Fate A Cecil County man convicted of fatally shooting his live-in girlfriend with a crossbow inside their home has been sentenced to eight years in prison, officials announced. Son Breaking Into Elderly Father's Home Resulted In Fatal Shooting: Maryland State Police New details have been released by Maryland State Police investigators as they continue to probe a fatal shooting and fire that was reported in Cecil County earlier this week.
