Fire crews in Baltimore County jumped into action to rescue a child and an adult who fell into icy waters at a cemetery in Pikesville, officials said. The Baltimore County Fire Department responded to Druid Ridge Cemetery on the 7900 block of Park Heights Avenue around 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, after receiving reports of two people trapped in a frozen pond. A faulty extension cord may be to blame for the fatal house fire in Baltimore County that claimed the life of a 74-year-old woman. Janet Pereira died on Wednesday, Jan. 22 when a fire broke out shortly before noon in a home in the 1800 block of Marshall Road in Dundalk. Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Pick-Up Truck, Car In Baltimore County, Police Say
The Baltimore Police Department has identified the 52-year-old man who was killed after being struck by two vehicles crossing the road. Jose Rivas was attempting to cross Liberty Road in the area of Brubar Court in Gwynn Oak on Friday night, when he was struck by both a 2014 Dodge Ram and a 2017 Nissan Altima.
