Poolesville Man Who Stole Veteran’s Truck, Missing Dog Pleads Guilty In PA: DA
A Maryland man who stole a veteran's truck — with an ironically-named dog still inside — has copped to the crime in Pennsylvania, the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office announced.
Kenneth Crider, of Poolesville, pleaded guilty to a host of charges in connection with an incident in September 2024 outside a Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon Township.
Specifically, Crider pleaded guilty to robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, and flight to avoid apprehension on Monday, Aug. 25.

Tornado Touches Down In Maryland (Developing)
A dangerous tornado touched down in Montgomery County on Wednesday night, officials confirmed.
At approximately 7:15 p.m. on June 5, the National Weather Service advised that a tornado was located in Poolsville moving east at approximately 20 mph in the area.
